I use them as setting blocks for woodworking tools, weights for holding wires when soldering, right angles for perfect 90 degree angles on small boxes for example , for jewelry boxes and much more. They are so good that I use them as a reference to check the tape or to compare my tape to other people helping me. My first set was a few years ago. It took me over a year to integrate their versatility into my workflow. But now I almost always go with 1-2-3 blocks first when I need a 90 degree anchor point or set the cutting distance for my router or table saw to 1, 2, 3 inches or a combination of both (I have several 1 - 2-3 blocks).
