VERY bright in my opinion. Also on my Audi A8 '05 they didn't fit without some trimming. I had to drill holes for the screws a bit to get the head of the Audi screw into the recess and I had to file down some edges to make it fit, but only on the left headlight. Maybe it was just my car. However, they seem to be well made and there have been no error messages on the dashboard so far. It's just damn bright. If only they were half as bright, 4 stars. I will buy CREE bulbs that fit the original lens barrels.
