Works great for my group's teleprompter system. Details: I use a computer with Cantabile software (DAW for live music) during live performances. It runs a program called Torsten's Live Prompter which is used to create highlighted lyrics with lyrics and chords and then display them on 4 video monitors using this splitter. All video monitors show the SAME. The monitors are mounted on the Hercules guitar stand and can be read by the band's singers and musicians. No separate notebooks or iPads to forget or lose. Caveats: Make sure you use good quality HDMI cables with this little splitter. The splitter doesn't necessarily have to be to blame, there's a lot of technology in the HDMI protocols for copy protection, audio, etc. that I don't particularly care about for this use case, but they do have the baggage that the industry standard committee offers. ("The camel is a committee-designed horse.") I didn't need technical assistance, so I can't comment on that.
