This item is poorly made and poorly designed. I followed the instructions exactly but it broke within the first 10 minutes of use. As soon as the snake "kinks" or forms a fold, it's game over. You can't straighten it, and the tool won't be able to get the "twisting" of the snake to work. I fiddled with this thing for 2 hours and ended up throwing it in the trash. money thrown away. Worst of all I didn't even clear my clog because it only advanced 8ft of line before it broke, left me with no money and still called the plumber.
