I bought two of these, expecting problems and hoping to at least get the job done. The first one broke on the first try. I accidentally learned to use it and tried the second one. I was half done when the second one broke. I called the plumber like I should have in the first place. JB

This item is poorly made and poorly designed. I followed the instructions exactly but it broke within the first 10 minutes of use. As soon as the snake "kinks" or forms a fold, it's game over. I used this to bring out a drain pump that connects to a kitchen drain. Kitchen items running down the chute caused problems with the "slowing down" drain. I used a large zip tie to attach the Snake-It case to the top of my ladder and hold the device and drill on it. As a result, I didn't have to bother with the bracket and at the same time pull the cable through the drain. It worked great!
