Review on EVGA Supernova Modular Warranty 220 G5 0850 X1 by David Weis

I haven't had a single issue since day one and I'm a heavy game and video editor so it works almost all day, every day. If you're like me, you've seen this thing pop up in lists in places like the LinusTechTips forums. etc. and it's pretty damn low compared to a lot of other power supplies. It's enough to make you hesitate about ever buying any of these things. Well, did it go on sale during Black Friday and cost a fully modular 850W 80+ Gold PSU? I couldn't ignore it. I closed my eyes tight and pressed ship. I've been using this stuff ever since. I never use eco mode. Seems unnecessary as the PSU isn't inherently noisy and I'd rather just know it's always keeping itself as cool as possible. It was packaged like a champ, with lots of extra cables and straps. The wires are all black, so that's good. The only thing that confuses me is that the cables are a bit stiff. Of course they are damn strong, but they could be more flexible. I had to route the cables the way I would prefer, not for cleanliness reasons, but the cables just couldn't flex enough to do what I originally intended. However, the cables are of good quality. I love the green design of the fan cover and the green LED when it's on. If I ever have problems I come back here and I do a good job, but for now it works fine with my setup, no problem.
