Just buy a nice stuffed animal and some pet supplies.
The "interactive" part of this toy is very disappointing. It's a bunch of buttons that make noise. They are not interesting, the music is bad, the lyrics are stupid, only the letters "abc" and only the numbers "1234". So not much is learned. The dog itself is like a cheap $5 stuffed animal. Better buy a nicer stuffed animal and some pet accessories and save yourself the headache of listening to nonsense. Our little one doesn't like noise either. She just plays with the dog.
