Review on AmazonBasics Premium Cat Scratching Post by Sherri Evans

It looks exactly like a SmartCat scratching post, but it isn't. I usually buy the SmartCat Ultimate scratching post but I saw this came out as a similar product and was cheaper so I thought I'd try and save some money and ordered it. The main downside is that the screws on the bottom for attaching the base to the stand are NOT countersunk, making the stand unstable and wobbly. The screws also scratched my floor. Otherwise it looks qualitatively the same as the SmartCat version, but that's the only reason I'm returning it and buying the SmartCat version. Save yourself the hassle of sending this back to Revain and buy the SmartCat Ultimate scratching post first.
