Review on Premium Granite Gold Sealer Spray: Water-Based Granite, Marble & Natural Stone Countertop Protection, 24oz - Made in the USA by David Robinson

This is my first experience with Granite Gold as I have been using Wieman products for a long time. However, Granite Gold has had some great reviews so I gave it a try - I have a sealer, a polish and a daily product. Sealant overview: Advantages: - Very easy application. Simply spray on a 3 foot section, wipe down the countertop, then buff. I used two soft cloths, one for application and one for buffing. Do this quickly as you don't want the sealer to dry on the surface or fade on the countertop so apply in small patches. After doing this, I also carefully polished the entire countertop using an old soft t-shirt. - Water based so it doesn't get dirty - Dries fast (again, make sure to buff quickly so it doesn't dry out before buffing) - No tarnishing or anything weird - my countertop looks the same as before but a little bit shiny (before polishing) and looks a bit richer in colour. not finished yet - my fabric went over that area very smooth as glass where I felt a stretch from the part I hadn't made so I figured some sealing was going on! - The price is reasonable - if used twice a year, this bottle will last for several years. I made three applications. I allowed the first coat to fully dry for 20 minutes as instructed, then applied 2 more coats as I haven't sealed my counters for a very long time. - The smell is slightly lemony but can be strong; However, it dissipates very quickly, no lingering odor. Cons: Really, the only negative was that the bottle leaked VERY badly - I mean it leaked out of the tube. And the black lid cover didn't stay on - when it fell off, the splatters went all over my walls. I was disappointed. I was able to put the cap back on so the product didn't splatter on my walls but continued to spill with all uses. Therefore four instead of five stars. Small detail: I wish they had specified how much to spray - I was in the dark on this part and was just guessing. good solid product. Note again that you should make smaller sections and buff immediately - you don't want the product to dry before you buff! Thank you for reading my review.
