Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Mobil 1 M1-210 High-Performance Extended Oil Filter by Willie Midkiff

Pay me now or PAY ME LATER LOTS OF TIME!

Read the specifications. Must be used with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I change the oil and still filter myself on a 2002 Lincoln Continental that I bought two years ago. I often get 29mpg in this V8 on the freeway. I change the oil and filter after 5000 km at the latest. 133,000 miles, no oil fire, no smoke, no need to top up. I've heard and learned that changing the oil is one of the most important maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures you can perform on your investment. Don't let these "quick fixes" or even dealers install poor quality oils/filters in your car. Hey Mobil I. My Hot Rod Lincoln uses 5W-20 and this filter. Note Note! :) For those who think they can't change the oil themselves. I'm 70 years old, "young", a bit heavy, but I'm enjoying this maintenance and there's a nice sense of pride and ownership of my HRL. EASY: Check the type of oil your vehicle needs and find the right Mobil 1 filter. Doing it yourself will set you back about $40, compared to nearly $100 at some stores. I took an automotive course at a local college and the instructor who was selected as the country's outstanding instructor changed the make he used for his car to Mobil 1. And another "older" guy who only buys Corvette and felgt, it told me that this is the only oil and filter used. Have fun, learn about your expensive investments by doing it yourself. You'll be less intimidated by dealerships and won't be fooled by "drive-ins" that put the cheapest oil and filters in your car. Their oil comes in big barrels (quality?) and poorly made/poorly working filters.

Pros
  • Holds twice as much dirt as other filters, with a total capacity of 28.0g
Cons
  • Speed
