was bought due to broken knee and received on 11/6/19. The battery was easy to install with one hand. First, it didn't work. But I would have the same problem with my OXO and Kuhn-Rikon guide: if the jar label is too close to the rim of the lid, it will interfere with blade contact. Removed tag and it worked. The second can had the label already wrapped to open the can. The only problem is that my manual openers have a pinscher-like attachment that grabs the lid to remove it. One-handed and vacuum-packed, it's a little harder to open. I would recommend it!
