This is a decent, if overpriced, storage ottoman that is attractive and functional.When I first looked at this ottoman, it was priced at $80, which seemed a little high but not out of the range for similar pieces.Then the price went up to $100, which makes it more expensive that most if not all of its competitors.I was able to pick one up on an Best Buy Warehouse deal for $58 in Like New condition -- and I was happy to be able to match it to my Rivet Hawthorne Settee in the same color/material -- but I would never consider paying $100 for one.Two ways it could be improved, IMHO: 1) making the tray portion black (rather than brown). Black would go much more harmoniously with the dark grey ("caviar") color of the fabric and the black felt interior lining. 2) making its dimensions slightly smaller and placing the cube atop slanted legs would give it some separation from the floor and also match better with the mid-century modern design of the other pieces in Rivet's collection.
