Very nice lamps. The lamps themselves have a great solid metal look and feel (they look more expensive than they are). Shading is not very good; They're nice, but they close with velcro at the back, and the stitching is quite noticeable. I'm keeping them for now, but after the holidays I'll replace them with something similar but unfastened at the back. The base is assembled, but the shades are not, and assembly wasn't as intuitive as I expected. Maybe I'm stupid, but first I actually connected the bottom of the lampshade to the bottom of the lampshade upside down. This left white metal sticking out from under the lampshade (see fig.). I figured it out, but it was annoying because I had to analyze everything. If you've done this before (or, like me, haven't been given instructions) you're probably laughing, but I honestly had no idea and there are no instructions other than the most basic explanations (assembling a lampshade, a lamp, etc.) d .). Neigh). After receiving it right away, I was very happy with it. The touch base is responsive (but requires quite a bit of touch, so an accidental tap doesn't usually change the light). Having a low light option is great because we leave them on when we are in the study so the living room has some light and they are perfect for that. There's an on/off switch on the cord, but I just leave them on and use the touch function to turn them on and off (although it's handy to turn them off on vacation). They come with lightbulbs, which is nice. They look like Edison lightbulbs. I'm not crazy about white light (I prefer warm or soft whites) but the tints help warm it up and I'll just replace them when they burn out. Fwiw, I plugged my phone into a USB outlet just to test it and it worked, but I didn't go any further (I don't need those features right now); They offer both a standard and a basic USB port and both will work. For the price this is a good deal. Even if I have to spend some money to replace the lampshades, I get good lamps for the price (and if you can buy them on sale, even better). I can change up the shades if I find the ones I like, but for now I'm just hiding the stitching on the back. I would definitely order them again. They are great and are working great so far. I just want them to include some of the main lines.
