I bought a kit for three eufyCam 2 cameras from Revain. I was thrilled to finally see a battery powered camera that supports RTSP or ONVIF (RTSP in this case) so I can stream to my NAS. But I was very disappointed with the RTSP integration. First, the only mention of RTSP support is on the eufyCam Kickstarter page and hidden on the anchor page from the January 2019 post. You would think that since eufyCam mentions RTSP support, they would have more information about it and their would have limitations. However, there is no mention of RTSP on the eufylife website or in the eufyCam 2 manual. Despite limited information about RTSP I was able to get started, but eufyCam 2's RTSP is useless. It turns itself off every 10 seconds, so it's not a constant stream. I suspect it has to do with battery life, but their website doesn't mention this important detail. Also, with RTSP you are limited to two cameras per base station. So even though I bought a three camera set, they only allow RTSP streaming from two cameras. If you want more than two RTSP streams, you need to buy an additional base station for every two. Again not mentioned anywhere on their website. Because I use my own surveillance software (SecuritySpy) and NAS (Synology), all my cameras record locally, so I don't have to rely on cloud storage. I wouldn't buy the eufyCam 2 kit if they were aware of the limited RTSP options. I sent the cameras back as they weren't really useful for RTSP streaming.
