I'm so glad I have these controllers! My husband bought two, one for each child's room, to replace the existing old-school single switch that turned the fan on and off, and we would then have to use the pull chains on the fan to change the fan speed or turn the lights on or off. The fan/light control app is so easy and convenient! It even has a timer function (called Countdown) or can be controlled with Alexa (which I haven't used yet)! My husband was able to install each controller with little electrical knowledge behind him. The only downside to the installation process was that our existing WiFi wasn't compatible so we had to buy a WiFi extender that offered 2.blah blah blah but that was an easy fix and these $48 controls to our fans/lights Add. make the children's room really high-tech and, above all, cozy! We have a two storey house so it's always warmer upstairs and we like to turn on the fans instead of the air con whenever possible and being able to control the fan from our phone, great!
