These studs are exactly what I was looking for to replace my old, old, old pair of starter earrings. I've given in and realized I just need to keep something permanently in my second set of ear piercings to keep them from closing. I really just wanted a clear/white stone with a fixed back that I could leave in all the time and sleep comfortably in as well, so a multi-colored set was a plus! As other reviews have noted, the backs/balls are tiny and a little tricky to get on, but once in place, they don't budge. The posts are shorter than your average stud, but nice and thick so your piercings won't heal over. I do not take these out at all and they've held up perfectly thru showers. Highly recommended!
