Hidden Gem Scanner!

This is like a hidden gem of a scanner with ABS and SRS. On older vehicles, you can get these codes by going through the "Service Line" and reading the MIL flash. As far as I know most new cars don't have this option and require a scanner. I have 3 Hondas: 03 Accord, 09 CRV and 12 Crosstour. It recognized Accrord and CRV OBDII, Engine, Transmission, SRS and ABS modules. The 2012 model recognized everything but scanned the SRS and then didn't show it as a recognized module, but don't worry I manually installed an Accord 09 for the car and recognized all the 2012 modules. If you're having trouble with other makes and models, try manually setting the car to a different (older) year instead of relying on the Auto VIN feature to show all your modules. Keep in mind that this will only give you basic ABS and SRS codes, at least for Honda. You will only get the main code and no "subcodes" as if counting blinks. Also, this will only reset the ABS, SRS and engine codes. If your vehicle has special initialization procedures (airbag modules, seat weight sensors, ABS calibration, etc.), this or any other entry-level scanner will not. 3210. This will find the correct firmware for this device. Also, there is no manual, you just get a "quick start guide" but OTC, Actron and Bosch scanners work the same so just download the OTC 3208 or 3210 manual and you should be able to figure it all out . Unfortunately in the OTC part they haven't updated the website or given you any guidance. If you're tech savvy, have used a scanner before and don't mind jumping through a few small hurdles to get it working, I highly recommend it - it's great for the price.
