I don't like the front number plate on my car. Unfortunately, Iowa law requires that we show the faceplate. The OEM solution is to drill holes in the nose of the car for a mounting bracket. Seriously, picking holes in the nose of a $105,000 car? This unit uses an existing screw to attach the bracket and with a slight push on the locking pin the license plate can be removed giving me a clean view of the front for shows or photos. In the photo shown, the bracket is installed and the plate removed. Removing and installing the plate takes just a few seconds. This product is part of the design genius. Thank you!
