Fell apart in half a year. A small crossbar came loose fairly early but I was still able to use the stand but recently another part came loose rendering it almost unusable. . When the laptop is on the stand, everything is fine, but if you remove the laptop and/or move the stand, it will most likely return to the folded state with a bang. Again, it's solid enough when supporting the weight of a laptop, but annoying if you're putting away your things, for example, and it slams when you lift your computer off it. every day and often carried it in my bag along with a computer and some books most of the time but I wouldn't say I abused it or anything. You would expect a laptop stand to be more durable.
