UPDATED NOT AS A BENEFIT, cannot be used reliably.!

Update: After building a better forge, here's one last bad review. can reach 1300 Celsius before stopping on the Celsius scale. I'm American, I like archaic dimensions, dammit. My theory is that the first or leftmost digit can only display "1" or a space. Not as described or advertised IMHO. I'll get a better device from Harbor Freight. . The probe is only 4-1/2 inches long and that makes it difficult to get good readings if you're pushing the 2300 degree range like I did. Good reader, bad probe.
