Did the wireless USB adapter come with no drivers and a piece of paper saying to email them?

A link to another site came with the mail. Attempting to download the driver required installing a RAR controller and the file said it was "too large" to download. Total waste of money and useless. Why does the driver need RAR? I don't steal movies from the internet. Driver files are very small.
