Works too well. - Pager

Now my father in law can call me whenever he likes. It works; very good. Maybe too good. When I bought it I told him it was a last resort. You know, falling in the shower, setting our house on fire, breaking an appendage, and so on. Well, apparently the lack of fruit is actually a dire situation for him. Along with repairing his TV, which had mysteriously come back under the control of a foreign power to deprive his father-in-law of the joy of watching TV. And let's not forget that every time he wants me to cut his toenails, cut his hair, bring him his laundry, put away his leftovers and dirty dishes, the daughter-in-law has to come running over, ask what we're going to eat for Dinner, or what's the weather like today etc. The paging system is nice and noisy but could be turned down; but never ignored. Oh no, never ignored. Never. He'll just call one more time. And again. And again; causing an avalanche of hysteria among your special pack of canine companions every time. And by the way, when the father-in-law gets bored, he likes to meow the mentioned herd and drive them into a frenzy. And then he likes to complain to others about the noisy dogs in the house. Like the numerous melodies and beeps available on the device. Be sure whatever you do to find the shortest call once you get this call button! Trust me on that. Believe me. All in all, this paging system is a HUGE improvement over the days when my father-in-law called me on his cell phone many, many, many times a day, usually without saying anything but instead hanging up as soon as I answered. Apparently he thought it was a good way to get my attention, although he never told me that was the plan. It was like playing 20+ times a day.
