I bought this set for my boyfriend and I - the larger size for him and the smaller size for me. He used it for the first time today and said it was good. I used mine once after receiving it and everything was fine. Just picked it up to use again tonight and when I twisted the little lever/handle part to open it it broke. Something that looked like a screw popped out and everything just fell apart (see photo). What?! I used it ONCE on my very thin, brittle, acrylic damaged nails. Not that I have big claws or anything. I was upset because now I have to look for another one. I have drug store clippers that have lasted many years, I guess I'll just go back and buy them from CVS or something. Don't waste your time with this product.
