Review on Darice 1218 76 Embossing Folder 5 75 Inch by Kelsey Brown

I bought this and several other folders to use with my Big Kick. And actually I use them for embossing metal, not paper. They work great on thin sheet copper (I use 26 ga or thinner and anneal it first to soften it so it actually holds the pressure). I've made a few things with this floral design. Now I'm playing with a snowflake. Love it! And you don't have to have a Vintaj Big Kick to work with metal - the Standard works the same but at a lower price. I think the Vintaj blanks are 24 ga and having worked with thinner blades I'd be surprised if something thicker actually made that much pressure. I have to try this to see it. I also prefer aging the metal with Liver Sulfur after printing - it really brings out the design and adds depth and dimension, especially if you polish the raised parts.
