Well, the joint closest to the palm of the index finger looks like a bruise. Well that's a great option. On the plus side it does what it's supposed to and seems to stay in the glove. Bad: The foam came off before it was even used. But the child's joint hurt, so we didn't have time to wait for another one. I glued it back with rubber glue. Before the practices closed due to COVID-19, we had about a dozen applications. Worked EXCELLENT. And when not in use, you don't have to tie it there. You can easily attach it to one of the glove's leather straps.
