I bought 2 sets of Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 and enough mounts for all 10 in wall speakers. I purchased empty 2-gang nylon pads from Home Depot to cover the junction box and adjacent rack area. (The house has 3 rooms wired for surround sound). I made a 1" hole in the cap where the bracket goes but still hides the hole so I can route the cable from the inside of the wall to the speaker without showing it. I then installed the bracket directly into the stud using 2 x #14 2.5" screws. This hides cables and junction boxes leaving a clean and solidly installed bracket. I'm sure the mount will support the weight of my body. Very strong. The built-in speakers shouldn't be climbed on, but make a solid impression. I bet if you apply enough force to the speaker to cause it to fail, the fault will be in the speaker, not the bracket. I made one of the rooms yesterday and the installation was pretty easy even with my overlay idea. The only downside I see with them is the price. I have no idea if that's a fair price or not. like quality. I was hoping the mounts wouldn't cost $250, but I bit the bullet.
