I wanted to try this product and was initially skeptical. I've never heard of it but thought it would be a good stand to try. I mainly use this stand with my laptop and it has been very helpful for me as I often have to change workspaces and sometimes there isn't enough height for my laptop. The stand has a very elegant look and comes in a case that is very convenient to carry. The stand has a simple look, which I really liked. Everything is firmly in place and fairly secure. I've been using it for a week now, it's holding up great. I often need a webcam for my work, so I liked that the height is adjustable for my meetings. I wanted to see the maximum height of my laptop, see photos. I wish it was even higher because sometimes the tables I use are low but still pretty good. On the lowest setting, the stand is still useful to keep my laptop from overheating. I even tried the reading stand and loved how I can adjust the height so I don't lean over a book or bend my neck. In general is it necessary? no Does it look cool and make my life and work easier? Aha! I plan to continue using.
