I love popcorn and eat it almost every day as a snack. I'm very picky about my popcorn, so saying "I love this popcorn maker" means something. It's quick and easy, and produces fluffy popcorn every time with no issues. I've been using this popcorn maker almost daily for about two months now. It's easy to use and holds up well in the dishwasher. It's a little tricky to hand wash as it's so flexible, but doable. When I make popcorn, I put about 1/2 tablespoon each of butter and coconut oil in a bowl, followed by 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels. (I leave the jar in the container with the grains for easy measurement). I put it in the microwave for 3 hours at 80% power. (80% power is KEY to getting it right!) I sprinkle with salt after I'm done. It turns out perfect every time. I've found that adding salt before cooking in the microwave leaves burnt salt in the bowl. The taste isn't bad, but I'm concerned that it might damage the bowl over time. I've used a few different brands of popcorn and have had success with both using this process. There's always a bit of junk left over, but that's okay no matter how you make your popcorn.
