Simple and effective
This USB-powered multicolored LED panel is exactly that. Pretty good for the price! Moderately bright, good choice of colors and powered by USB 5V. The remote is your primary point-and-click, which requires line of sight to work, but it works. I use it to light up the area under my desk where all my outlets are, so I don't have to fumble around in the dark to plug things in anymore. I haven't had any problems with it and I don't think I have any.
