Review on VSR Visor Organizer by Go Gear by Alan Massey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just the thing for interior design

I'm the kind of ridiculous person who spends a lot of time researching a product, even if it's only $5 or so. This one was no exception. I recently bought a 2012 Prius. As a warning to anyone considering this, be prepared to buy some organizers as they have almost no front storage drawers (for explanation, I switched from a Sequoia to a Prius so I had a few storage drawers in a Sequoia) . I'm obviously spoiled.) There are several similar visor organizers to choose from. One pointed out that it smelled funny and I think the couple stated the sunglasses didn't fit. I ended up going for this one because most of the pockets are mesh so I can see what's inside and I really need a pen holder. The mesh pockets (two, one full-width and one half-width) have elasticated openings so you can easily store your belongings. The large mesh pocket is also quite deep, about 2/3 the length of the organizer, which isn't visible in the photo. It will have sunglasses and then something else. The third pocket is non-mesh and about half the length. The support pad is fairly thin cardboard, but that's probably better than a rigid board as it takes the shape of a visor or flexes to hold thicker items if needed. One inch thick elastic straps slide across the screen. In my case with my small car, I put the straps on both ends instead of sliding them off one end and centering them. It's a little wider, maybe 0.75 inches for my visor, but it only flexes a little. It looks really good and matches my business cards, pens, notes and coupons. It's all black, including the stripes, except for the small rubber logo that can be seen in the photo. I would definitely recommend it, especially in this price range. I think unless you're stuffing thick, pointy things in your pockets and tugging at them all the time, it holds up well and it definitely has a good spot.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
