I really like this bag. However, when I first received it, I thought about returning it because it really wasn't what I thought it would be. The front and medium pockets are small and don't open very far, but I can put binders and small/medium textbooks in the front. The large back pocket, which can hold a laptop, also easily fits a charger and a 3-ring binder (think I have a 2-inch binder). Sometimes I mainly use it for school and hope to use it more when I start teaching. I've never traveled through an airport with it, so I can't comment on that aspect of the bag.
