but seems really good at all the essentials

Only used for a week now but seems really good at all the essentials. I'm a coffee freak, roast my own beans, treat brewing like a Nazi, etc. My Capresso coffee grinder recently died due to an engine failure, maybe 1.5 years later - and note that it gets pretty good reviews - well I looked and bought Ariete. Good, accurate and reproducible grind selection. Quiet enf and good handling. Good price. My only gripe is that the bottom container that collects the ground coffee fits too snugly under the rubberized grind hole just above. Pushing in or pulling out the grist cup will usually expel a small amount of grist from the snug rubber outlet, overcoming this tight fit. In just a few days, this will become another annoying mess on the countertop. But here's the good news: I've stopped using the jar lid while sanding (or at all). The container slides in and out freely and the coffee grounds are not scattered during grinding. Everything is clean, great coffee, no cons - Win!
