I did it! I had to buy two screens, but I was able to replace my iPad's broken screen for less than $50. My screen was completely broken into millions of little pieces, but someone's suggestion to tape the screen before trying to remove it helped a lot. Suggestions: 1) Buy this screen with all attachments, screen cleaner and tools. 2) CAREFULLY use a razor if your screen is broken and don't go deep into the iPad as that's where the sensitive components are located. When I first tried to remove it, one of the fragile components must have been ripped off the touchscreen, and the touchscreen didn't work when I closed it. It took me a little while to find a tiny piece separated from the screen. I saved $400 (current price in Southern California for a refurbished screen). Hooray!
