I use this for both soldering and smoothing 3D prints and it works great in both cases, although I would suggest buying a second set of nozzles for different activities since using soldering tips to smooth 3D -Print usually ruined soldering tips for soldering. Still great value for money - although you should probably make a better iron holder if you don't use it, and the one that comes with it is pretty silly and useless - although you can probably just bend the hanger to use it as a holster for the Iron when not in use and screw into a block of wood or similar.
