Review on 🏠 EternaBond 4x10 White RV Mobile Home Rubber Roof Repair by Jared Aguilar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great for my needs. The roll length was convenient and economical.

Please note that the size I bought, 10 feet, was not the standard length offered by the manufacturer. The seller has stated beforehand that they are cutting from a larger roll. I needed about 8 feet, and when I finished I had 2 feet left, so I was sold the quantity of material listed. The TV antenna, which we never used, is sunk into the roof of our RV. I figured it was a gasket failure and water was seeping into the OSB and causing the section to rot. The rest of my roof was fine, it was just a 24" x 16" damaged area, so I cut an "H" into my rubber roof, peeled the rubber roof back until I hit solid hardwood that went in a new plate was glued. OSB, glued the rubber roofing back on and then used EternaBond tape to close the cuts in the rubber roofing. See photo. I did not reinstall the antenna, we never used it. She was perfect for my needs. I later went back and circled the whole Dicor band, but I don't think it was necessary. I didn't use any special cleaners or primers. I cleaned the area with lacquer thinner, wiped dry, allowed to air dry, then used this tape. I ran a heavy roller over it to make sure it was secure. This stuff is sticky. Like, really sticky. Like a giant glue trap for your hands. Separating the thin plastic backing from the sticky side can be tricky. Once you start it's fine, but it was a little difficult to get the first corner out. I'd like to think I have a permanent renovation that will survive the rest of the roof/RV, but only time will tell. I appreciate that the seller offers it in smaller rolls so I didn't have to buy 5 times what I need.
