GOOD: I had a hard time buying a complete system. I haven't been happy with any of them, nor did I expect to be completely happy with them. However, I eventually agreed to get something with an RTX 30XX series graphics card. And the most important thing I was hoping for, which is performance, working in tandem with MS Flight Simulator 2020 and creative applications like Premiere Pro and After Effects, this system certainly doesn't disappoint. That's a beast. I'm getting incredible performance compared to my relatively new build. I've paired this with an HP Reverb G2 VR headset and the visuals are amazing. Of course, with this type of investment, you expect a high level of performance. Fortunately, this system works. THE BAD: The choice of motherboard is questionable. Why on earth is anyone still making mobile devices with an IBM PC keyboard connection? There could be 2 more USB ports. WiFi isn't built-in, it's a dongle that uses the USB port. The case and lighting are very important in terms of aesthetics. The CPU cooler has no lighting and looks low-end. The pedigree of the RTX 3090 is questionable. From the looks of it, this is a Dell OEM build. Nothing out of the ordinary, no RGB backlight either. The fan and lighting on the front are controlled by a small, credit card-sized remote rather than software controls. Pooh. Visually, however, the "infiniteโ front panel pleases. DANGEROUS: I had a pretty bad experience after initially setting up and installing software that I assumed was due to an outdated BIOS causing my Windows installation to not boot and go into forced recovery. and erase all my settings. I expect the builder to install the latest BIOS as part of the install. So far it has been stable after a BIOS update (knock on wood). The included keyboard and mouse are also absolute rubbish. Virtually useless. Expect these to be replaced.
