Update: My fat cat has decided she won't jump in the tub anymore. So I had my husband cut out the front to look more like a traditional tray but with high sides. So basically the original amazing concept is gone but I still have a nice tall sidewall bowl. I've been wearing this litter box for almost a month now. It's quite big, but not big enough for my Maine Coon cat to use with the lid closed. Although my smaller cat (9 pounds) fits in perfectly. My big boy decided he would pee standing up and urinate out of his normal box so I decided to give it a try. Since I can't use it with the lid, I put it next to the toilet so cats can jump into the box from the toilet seat. So, I think it works, just not the way I intended. Too bad they didn't do more.
