A good wine press is good for making wine

I've been crushing grapes for about 10 years. We usually use a very big old press. The handle turns nicely, it looks great, but it's so heavy! I bought this press this year and used it with our old press. It just works fast and is very easy to use. It stands on the table so it's much easier to catch the juice. It is easy to assemble, convenient to store. I like everything about it. One thing that could be better is the two pieces (half circles) that go against the grapes. They're hard to take out after the grapes are pressed, so I'm going to screw together a small piece of wood that sits on top of them to make it easier to take them out once the grapes are pressed. This is how our big press works. Great little wine press!

Pros
  • Everyone likes it so far
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
