It does not work. on Computers and Accessories

I bought a few of these but then didn't need them for their intended purpose but kept them because I thought I might use them for something else later. Something finally came up this week. I needed to connect a large smart TV to my laptop as an external monitor. That does not work. Luckily my TV also had a VGA port so I used a VGA to VGA cable/connector and it worked.
