Revain Fire Stick for DVI Monitor: WIN!

Use this cable to connect my Revain Fire Stick to a DVI monitor and it works great!. When the Fire Stick is connected to a Bluetooth speaker, I don't have to worry about the monitor not having speakers.

Used to connect Revain FireStick to an OLD 720P flat panel display with DVI connector. An image of an ideal screen. BUT I totally forgot that DVI can't carry audio so luckily I have a Bluetooth speaker which I haven't used and it sounds way better than a TV.

Mandatory for older Apple displays and/or non-Thunderbolt 3.

This works great, especially for Apple displays as only the latest Thunderbolt displays work with USB-C. Older Apple displays are locked at 60Hz, so this adapter is needed. While not perfect, it's solidly built, no issues with this adapter.

It does not work. on Computers and Accessories

I bought a few of these but then didn't need them for their intended purpose but kept them because I thought I might use them for something else later. Something finally came up this week. I needed to connect a large smart TV to my laptop as an external monitor. That does not work. Luckily my TV also had a VGA port so I used a VGA to VGA cable/connector and it worked.
