This cutter works amazingly well, couldn't feed it fast enough. As long as the jerky comes out 1 x 1/4 inch I don't mind. They are dressed uniformly and all look the same. Should make drying easier. No more checking thin and thick parts over and over again. Cleaning is a pain as others have said. While you shouldn't use the dishwasher to clean the blades, I did. The blades show no discoloration or rust. I dried them immediately after washing and sprayed them with silicone. I highly recommend this device. Because of the price I only give 4 stars, should be stainless steel blades and dishwasher safe.
