Firstly, you can simply turn on the raclette bowl in advance - before the table setting begins, and secondly, there are no miracles and the laws of physics cannot be changed. If you didn’t have time to heat up the stone in advance, you can make “aperitif” sandwiches in frying pans, fry something quick on the steel half. Definitely not a disadvantage.
