Review on 🎯 Auto-Creative Precision Structure for Short Range by Jake Pavelko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad printer, but room for improvement.

This printer is very well built. All parts were well packaged and assembly was quick. After assembling the structure I checked it with a machine square and it was in place. I really like that the Corexy straps are already installed. The printer prints fine with the default settings, but I was able to get it to print better and faster by adjusting the acceleration and jerk settings. On the other hand, the printer I received had several disadvantages. hardware problems. The printer turned off during printing if it lasted longer than two hours. Eventually the printer gets stuck in an endless boot loop. I spoke to the manufacturer who was easy to reach but we couldn't pinpoint the problem because I tried something the night before that temporarily fixed it. The next day he started doing it again. I tried a new motherboard and it didn't fix the problem. It ended up being a 5V regulator on the power control board that is used to automatically turn off the power supply. I fixed it with a 6 euro spare part. Also, I had a problem with the Az axis. As a result, it turned out to be a bad stepper motor, which sometimes hung. I was able to take it out of the printer and let it stick when rotated by hand. I bought another motor for $16. That aside, I'm very happy with the speed, print quality, and build quality of the printer. I'm not going to scold him for bad components because if you know anything about 3D printers, you know these are all ordinary Chinese parts that they all use. Luckily I had bad parts. So for the price it's a good basis for building a really good printer. The stem isn't bad, but you really can use a full metal hot end and a BMG extruder to make it work better with a wider range of materials.
