This bench saves space and floor space in the hallway of my apartment. It's surprisingly durable for its light weight (and considering the price). The instructions show how everything fits together but doesn't give a recommended order, although I didn't find it a problem given the simplicity. I can see that attaching all the metal bars at once can be a little tricky (according to other reviews) but I didn't have too much trouble after attaching it to an assembled end where all the bars were sticking out and moving. from there. My only issue with this bench is the material the bench cushion is made of. It's a faux suede that never looks neat. As a nice bonus, the fabric is very loose. bright. prints in whenever sat. They're easy enough to erase, but worth mentioning. Both men and women in long jeans have this experience. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but eventually I'll change the fabric.
