The drain will not close. I've spent all day under the sink trying to stop the drain from leaking to no avail. And the installation instructions don't help either. I think the main issue might be that the drain body is all plastic so with more pressure it just flexes more instead of tightening more. Yes, and rubber gaskets do not match the shape of the sink. It may help to remove the rubber pads and use plumber. This will be my next attempt at saving this project. The best choice would be a metal drain. The faucet itself is beautiful, with good finishes. Too bad they cut the quality of the drain. My advice: pay the extra money and stick with one of the established brands. It might save you a day of frustration under the sink trying to stop a leak that can't be stopped with the parts included in the kit.
