I've been using the refuse lift since it was first introduced. I like it ONLY it's plastic and needs to be replaced. But. I only do 2 scoops a year and as a savior for stray and feral cats. I wash a lot of boxes twice a day. When I saw that shovel was metal. it has the same teeth and the same spacing between them as my beloved shovel. I was in all this sensation. When it arrived I was very impressed with the weight. Strength. and yes, it was a vastly improved version of my favorite! So sad when a person can be turned on by a dustpan, right? However. If you don't use a filler with the size and texture of the salt, you'll spend MUCH MORE TIME cleaning out the drawers. You have to shake and shake and shake some more to make the filler fall out of the scoop. A significant amount of pure fillers get stuck in the teeth and interfere with the ability of other fillers to pass through them. I use organic clumping litter, which clumps REALLY WELL, otherwise I would break and re-deposit a lot of what I was trying to remove. Great concept but useless unless you have a cat, very good quality litter and nothing to do.
