Here are some installation tips

It took us 10 months to install them on 10" Power Gear pads. The time consisted of 1 month trying, 1 month trying to get repair shops to try it (no volunteers). ) and 7.99 months of headaches until we found the magic formula. Our problem was that we couldn't squeeze the pads hard enough to compress the base enough for the pad to come out of the SnapPads rim no matter how many tons we put on it. We were always missing about a quarter of an inch. Today they are all gone within minutes. Here's what worked: 1. Wait for a warm day. 2. Lubricate the underside and rim of the jack pad with Axel Lube - it's cheap, handy and available from Revain. 3. Lubricate the top and inside edges of the SnapPad with axle lubricant. 4. Lubricate ANOTHER SnapPad with axle lube. .5. Center the pads as best you can and press firmly - click. helps the upper self-center.6. You can do this for three pads. Fourth, find a cheap 12β€³ skillet and slip it under the last buttered SnapPad and carefully center both of them under the Jack Pad – click. (We expected the pan to be crushed a bit, but it survived.) It seemed to work because it allowed the contact pad to drop lower before it bottomed out on the SnapPad's solid base and exposed the edge. It would be great if SnapPad included some sort of metal ring to simplify the installation process, but until then give it a try. . .Much luck.
