Excellent investment! in Motorhome Parts & Accessories

Works great! After a week of dry camping in hayfields and parking lots, followed by a group of bikers across Iowa for RAGBRAI, setup became a lot easier. They were easy to install and the large footprint they occupy is invaluable. Good investment for motorhomes.

Easy to install; durable

One of the best and cheapest "mods" you can make for your RV. Place the latches under the sockets one at a time, lowering the sockets about 1/2" to 1/2" from the latch. Lubricate with dish soap, check alignment and lower the jack until it "clicks" into the latch. You will hear - 1100 pounds of force. Never go underground to install jacks again. Gaskets are required in some places.

RV chassis locks are invaluable.

Great idea. Slip-on chocks attach to the underside of my RV's chassis legs. Increases surface area and provides a more stable RV when camping. Also great for use when parking on sidewalks and sometimes when the sidewalk gets very hot the chassis legs will dent and sometimes fall through. Blocking blocks prevent this. They stay in place and do not need to be adjusted or removed.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Mandatory appearance update

I don't give many 5 star reviews. Very little. I save them for the very best products and experiences. RVSnapPads easily earned my 5-star rating. Very high quality product. Installation was a "click" with some dish soap around the edge. Looks great. I find our 2007 Class A RV to be more stable with the SnapPads than without them, and they save me time and frustration every time I use the chassis. They will clearly protect landing areas like tarmac, just park and take off. Made in the USA. What…

Here are some installation tips

It took us 10 months to install them on 10" Power Gear pads. The time consisted of 1 month trying, 1 month trying to get repair shops to try it (no volunteers). ) and 7.99 months of headaches until we found the magic formula. Our problem was that we couldn't squeeze the pads hard enough to compress the base enough for the pad to come out of the SnapPads rim no matter how many tons we put on it. We were always missing about a quarter of an inch. Today they are all gone within minutes. Here's…
