These mini flashlights are great for melting paracord. A small eagle torch is also great and much cheaper, but breaks after a while. These Iroda Torches seem to be well made, I'll check if I feel like they're not going to last long enough. But they look solid. After being used all day, they appear to be more of a flame than an eagle torch. But it can help melt the ends of the paracord faster. I don't seem to burn my fingertips that often, maybe because I don't have to hold the flame there that long? The flame is still small enough to be precise, but only slightly larger than an eagle torch. I only had to choose one, I would definitely go with this Heroda.
