Review on πŸ”₯ Ultimate Survival Tool: Refillable Floating Lighter for Outdoor Adventures - Waterproof, Windproof, and Impact Resistant Construction by Michelle Ramanath

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolute Worst Lighter

If I could give this a minus 5 star rating I would. This lighter is completely NONE. I bought it for a 10 day Allagash Wilderness waterway trip. I think a wind and waterproof lighter would come in handy on a 10 day kayak trip with no supplies and no easy exit. Honestly that would be great as my jet boiler is finicky and doesn't always want to fire. Information on the type of fuel, as well as information on refueling on the packaging, in literature or on the website - NULL. since i finally found a youtube video that at least explained how to fill in this useless junk, the loop has completely fallen apart and fell apart. Mind you, this useless junk has never been on a tour or even an easy day hike. It stayed safely and neatly tucked away in the Rubbermaid trash can along with other hiking/kayaking/climbing gear. Unfortunately, I've owned this useless piece of plastic for almost 2 years now. Tonight I tried to give him a (not really sure, but let's just start with that) 54th chance to work. I shook the Bejesus out of the butane gas. I inserted it evenly and straight into the insertion hole for filling. And the fuel just sprayed everywhere again. I did it in the recommended top position. To say that this is probably the most useless and pathetic piece of crap I've ever bought is hopefully an understatement. I sincerely hope the chia pet I bought for the Yankee Holiday Exchange as a joke turned out to be a lot more worthwhile. .I REALLY wanted this to work. It REALLY doesn't work.
